Well the last two people who contacted ME have fallen through. I didn't think macnn had scammers, but I guess where there are people there will be scammers.

So therefore I'm still looking for an ibook...here are the specs I need

14" ONLY
airport
applecare
700mhz and up ONLY
must be in great physical condition
must be in perfect mechanical condition

will pay depending on specs. no more than 900US however.

I've seen MacConnection sell 14" G3/900 Ibooks for within your budget ($899)..may not be a bad idea to go with a store rather than a forum if you're looking for a safer option.

The Apple Store today had refurb G3/900 14" iBooks for $849.
