I am finally ready to part with my G4 Cube (450MHz, 512MB RAM, DVD/CD-R Drive) and I want to bundle it with it's matching monitor, the very cool looking CRT 17" Studio Display.

I am assuming that both of these items have some big collector value simply because of their terrific design but I am not sure what the actual market value is for these.

If you wish to make a reasonable offer, please email me (twjared@mac.com). I have already been offered $550 for the Cube ALONE but having the monitor without the Cube does me no good, so I was curious to see what I could get for both.

Thank you

I would guess in the range of $700-875 depending on the condition of both and the speed of the cube, and the items IN the cube. perhaps more details on the cube could get you a more accurate evaluation of value?

edit: changed prices because i didn't realize it was a crt at first
yep.

The Machine is basically as it came. It's clean and in very sharp shape, has some OSX graphic design software installed on it, and actually has 704 MB of RAM (512,128,64).

The machine speed is 450MHz, Bus speed 100MHz

i'd say right at $1000, definitly, and if though you don't want to seperate, you might get a little more than that if you sold them seperatly as in $650 for the cube and $500 for the display.

i'd love to have that set up, but i need a DVD burner in powermac.
as ever,
sonny

I was under the impression the monitor would be a burden to sell since it's only compatible with the Cube and G4s. I would actually prefer to seperate them. Do you have interest in the monitor by itself?

Are you sure about $500 for a CRT? That sounds kind of high. If it where the LCD I would say the price is right. Am I missing something?

The CRT Studio display is worth $100-175, probably... depending on condition.

I'm gonna try my best to sell these together if I can make it happen. You wouldn't by chance have any interest in the Cube too?

Did you change out the optical drive on this? Cubes didn't ship with a combo.

It's a DVD/CD, not a DVD/CD-R.
