The G4 Cube, in my opinion, is one of the finest and most unique pieces of hardware Apple or any other company has ever produced. It is a collector’s item for a reason.
The G4 Cube has a definite upgrade path, including processor upgrades as fast as 1.4GHz 7457s and all the way down to an 800MHz 7450, for as little as $184 (Sonnet 800MHz, from NewEgg), PowerLogix is supposedly working on a Dual 7457 G4 upgrade for the Cube as well. The Cube can also handle many Radeon and GeForce video cards, some of which require relocating the power board to create enough room for the card, a simple and cheap modification however. The Cube can also take 1.5GBs of RAM across it’s 3 RAM slots and a hard drive up to 137GBs (ATA-66 limitation).
I am selling this Cube because, frankly, I need the money.
It is in great physical condition and will be packed well. I am looking for $550 + Shipping ($30ish for UPS Ground to the lower 48), or local pickup in Tulsa is also welcome. Payment by PayPal, including Credit Card, is also welcome. I will also accept MOs and personal checks, but the check will have to clear before I ship.
