I'm looking for an old iBook G3 500 or 600. I'm looking to pay around $300, so if it has a bad optical drive or hard drive, that's OK.

I have a 600MHz iBook (Dual USB) that has an extremely flakey hard drive. You mentioned that a bad hard drive is acceptable, but you do realize that replacing hard drives on these things is a real PITA right?
