Hi guys, a friend of mine is desperately in need of a new PC. I've tried to get him to buy a Mac (which he admittedly would prefer), but money is an issue right now.
He's looking for something over 1.2ghz, 30gig hd, at least 256 ram, and a cd burner. Video card etc... aren't that important. He's already got a monitor.
Also, it would be nice if OS was included. If not, no biggie.

check ebay. you can find decent computers (1.6ghz) around $200 and less.

ebay is kind of more hassle than he's looking for. I trust most of the people on here and I think they know about fair prices, etc... in the pc world. Alot of ebay deals are ripoffs (ie $75 shipping, no OS on most systems, etc). Thanks for trying to help though.
