For sale Apple 12" PowerBook G4 1.33 GHZ combo drive, 60 GB hard drive with about 10 months warranty left. Bought in late April 2004, upgraded ram to 512 RAM. But I just can't get used to Macintosh, going back to Windows. Rarely used, like new. ZERO dead pixels. Will include the original box, manuals, DVI, VGA adapters, phone cable, battery still holds about 4 hours, System CD's which include OS 10.3 Panther, iLife 04, Apple stickers. Even the plastic wrapping for each part is included.
Software currently installed includes Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office 2004, Quicken 2004, Virtual PC 6 with Windows 2000. (Or I can wipe hard drive and reset to original system setting if desired).
Still has original Apple Warranty left and the option to purchase AppleCare if desired. Paid around $1800 for it after tax and after adding 256 MB RAM. I'd prefer to meet in the Los Angeles/ Pasadena area, and would like $1600 cash firm for this laptop.

Is that so unbelievable for some reason?
Attn everybody: OS X is not the easiest OS to adapt to. I mean...in all fairness, I sold my first ibook because I couldn't adapt(too slow) but luckily I picked back up and love it It's not unbelievable that somebody would hate OS X after trying it.(It's not unbelievable that somebody would hate Windows after trying OS X either)

At least you admit that you're slow. OS X is a very simple OS to adapt to. Heck, all GUIs usually are.

Try the computer...not me. The iBook was a G3 500...complete turd. I'll try to be a little more clear on that next time OS X is great but it's a whole world different from windows. Mac users wouldn't recommend the book, The missing manual, by David Pogue if it were easy. Things that are easy don't require a book. Meanwhile, this guy is selling a nice powerbook(just like mine) and I'll let the sale commence, happy buying!

yea, i can understand how mac os is better than windows. But after years of using windows its been hard adjusting. Plus recently I find that i use virtual pc a lot more than the actual os x for autocad, and given the amount of time I've begun spend on autocad, os x doesn't fit my needs as well as I had hoped it would. I've tried other alternatives such as vectorworks, but i find that autocad suits me better. If i give enough time to adjust to os x i may find that its better than windows, but at this time i guess i'm not committed to make the switch =P.
