Here's the list:
128 MB PC2100 DDR SO-DIMM (I have 2 of these) $12.50
256 MB PC2100 DDR SO-DIMM $24
I have the top palm rest casing of an TiBook 500 - the frame is a goner, but some parts seem to be still salvageable. $100 for the entire casing with parts!! (Some places sell just the PMU board for $89!) Otherwise, I will part out as follows:
inside hinge attachments/I/O panel door hinges/door - $35
speakers - $20
power button - $20
cooling fan - $35
backup battery - $50
PMU board - $65
trackpad/button assembly - $40
latch button - $65
airport antenna - $30
IR port cover - $10
I also have an iBook dual USB 500 that the owner is not interested in paying to get fixed. I've already called Apple and tried to see if it would qualify for the Logic Board Exchange thing. No luck, it keeps starting up with a "?" and freezes. After restarting it, the screen goes black, and the CD spins up, then it freezes again during bootup. The only way to revive it is to zap the PRAM, and the same cycle starts all over again. The screen is in excellent condition, other than a missing top left bumper, and marks on the inner bezel (not screen). This would be perfect to fix up a iBook with broken screen. This iBook's seen heavy use/abuse, so the case plastics aren't in the best of condition with scuffs and scratches all over the external case. Bottom case is missing all the feet, and one of them is even missing the metal part. Lower case was torn apart by owner to retrieve his hard drive. I've reassembled it the best I could - DVD drive still works, but may not eject properly. No hard drive. Only has soldered on 64 MB of RAM. Keyboard was filthy, I cleaned it up as much as I can, but its missing the delete and F1 keys, and the :; key is not connected properly. Lettering partially worn off on A, S, D, E, C, and L keys. Other keys may be a bit discolored, and bottom of keyboard apparently has some stains. Latch does not hold, but latch flip out part is still intact. Battery holds a decent 1-2 hour charge. Perfect for a backup battery. No AC adapter. Feel free to ask about anything regarding this iBook. The only part I really can't vouch for is the logic board. Everything else seems to be functional. I will try to get pics soon, no decent digcam handy around here.
$200 (some places sell just the screen for $250!!) OBO. I would rather sell this in one piece - but if nobody makes a serious offer, I will respond to offers for parting this out.
