You are bidding on a personally owned PowerBook. Purchased in December 2003 at the Apple store in Boston. It is in mint condition, physically and operationally. Screen has no marks nor dead pixels. Reason for selling; decided I liked my Pismo more. Still under original 1 year warranty, and possible to extend with AppleCare.
Includes:
Original Box and all original accessories, manuals and Install DVD (will include original store receipt).
Apple Software: OS 10.3 Panther, iLife2004, Keynote, and Appleworks 6.
Additional Software (original discs with SN's that I bought): Microsoft Office 2001, Microsoft Office v.X Upgrade, Microsoft Office 2004 (Student Ed. with one serial included), Toast 5, Photoshop 7 Upgrade (have the needed upgrade SN from PS 5, lost the disc though).
Extras:
Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard (will include original box and receipt, under warranty). Barely used and in perfect condition.
Waterfield design Sleeve case with top loading flap. Perfect condition.
2 blank Memorex DVD-RW (sealed)
2 blank Apple 2X DVD-R
1 blank CD-RW (used)
9 Foot USB device cable
Notes:
-Battery is in excellent condition, barely used, and holds full charge.
-The hard drive is the Hitachi/IBM Travelstar 60GB 7200 "Enhanced" drive. It is an industrial strength drive designed for extended usage. It was purchased from TransIntl and installed by me. It is not as quiet as the stock 80GB 4200 drive, but the speed increase makes it worth it. There is excellent information on the MacNN Forums and BareFeats websites about it.
-The laptop was sent to Apple in June to fix a dimness on the right side of the screen and is now perfect. (Apple replaced the inverter board, will include invoice).
