I could be wrong but I didn't think that the Pismo ever had a hardware test CD. If it did it looks like I learned something new

Hmm. I've seen them mentioned. Perhaps there was a generic one for machines of that period?

if anyone bought a new or used pismo and didn't get the software test cd, then they got stiffed on it. mine was brand new and there was a test cd included.
wish i could help you don, but i'd like to keep my disc around.
