I just got the powerbook i have been looking for so Im selling the ibook i have been using. Here is a chance for all the Canadians out there to save as their are no taxes and cheap shipping as I am located in Ontario.
It is a 14" G4 933
40gb Hd
384 ram (extra 128 from standard..)
upgraded from apple to include bluetooth and airport extreme
sill has original warranty left but i will have to find out exactly how much. Comes with a very stylish in case brief style carrying case.
Looking for 1100US.
Now I know that the apple refurb 14"1 ghz is selling for 1099. So before you post to tell me that, i have two things to say.
Refurbs are not available to Canada. I have spent many hours on the phone with Apple trying to get somebody to do something for me but I have never had any success. The markets are different and so you cannot equally compare a machine here Vs. in the US. Even go to apple.ca and look at the prices and convert to US, they are not equivalent (at least prior to the last revision they weren't and the US market was cheaper.)
Also, you do get an extra 128 ram, bluetooth, airport extreme, nice carrying case, panther and ilife and no taxes. Might not be enought o some to by used but i think it is within the Canadian market. We shall see what everybody out there thinks.
Forgot to mention, looking for a 12" revA powerbook wih combo drive.
