The iMac G4 offers substantial processing power with Altivec technology while the SuperDrive allows you to burn not only CD's, but save your video creations and home movies to DVD as well using iMovie and iDVD, included.<br>This particular machine has been used by myself in my home office and never abused or suffered any performance issues since brand new. Purchased in March 2002, this iMac was immediately upgraded to 768MB or memory and can handle even the most demanding applications easily. My profession as a technical consultant (Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist) specializing in troubleshooting, maintenance and customer training and education ensures a history of the finest care and maintenance. This is about as close to a new machine as you will find anywhere. As you can see in the photos, all the original install disks are included along with a full set of OS X 10.3 upgraded disks and iLife v.1.0. When you first power on this computer, it will greet you with a fresh install of Panther as if brand new, fully ready for you to personalize for years of enjoyment. Includes the original Apple Pro keyboard however the mouse has been upgraded from the single button original, to a much more useful Logitech optical three button scrollwheel mouse. With the advancements in multi-button capability such as Expose in Panther, this is the way to go with a mouse for maximum usage.
