I bought a couple of these when I was planning on buying a 17" but I ended up getting a 12", so here they are. They are made of a suede-like material that feels quite good. They attach to the powerbook's wrist rest area (and button, if you like) via a sort of adhesive. The adhesive doesn't stick to the powerbook permanently, however. I had a set of these on my old powerbook for well over a year and they peeled right off when I sold it. They are particularly nice when the computer heats up.
They are normally only available in Japan (where I got them) so this may be your only chance to pick them up. The price is $20, including shipping. I'm just trying to get back what I paid for them originally.
Here is a picture of them. The color I am selling is the one in the middle, which matches the color of the powerbook pretty well. You can get a better idea of the shape of the cover by looking at the other colors, though.
There are two sets available, brand new in the plastic.
