I love my 17" Powerbook, but need something more portable, which is why I'm selling my PowerBook. I am asking for $1800, and this is why:

17" Powerbook w/Applecare (just under 2 years left)
1GHz G4
1 GB RAM
60 GB HD
Airport Extreme
Superdrive

EXCELLENT CONDITION

I would consider a trade plus cash, but the smaller PowerBook or iBook MUST have a SuperDrive.

Thanks for looking.

I know you said Superdrive only but I have a 15" Powerbook 1.5 ghz with 1.25 gig of ram with a combo drive. I just purchased this unit 2 months ago and it has no dead pixels.

Hi jixdog,

I am just getting ready to list my TiBook for sale in order to go up to a 17" which I could use for my consulting work over the 15". Just thought I'd pass the info along in case you'd be interested.

My TiBook is in excellent unblemished condition, 1GHz, 512, 64MB video ram, Airport, Superdrive and I just recently upgraded the hard drive to the Hitachi Travelstar 7K60 60 GB 7,200 RPM drive and it makes an amazing difference in speed with no change in heat or battery consumption by the way. The screen on my Ti has no dead or stuck pixels as I have verified with Screen Query to be sure of the quality. Original box/cables/etc. I will be listing this machine for $1700 since it is completely loaded and equipped with the much upgraded Travelstar drive. Another thing which should offer some confidence is the fact that I am an independent Apple consultant/educator well versed in how to properly care for and keep a machine in the best condition internally and externally. I will have detailed photos available this weekend.

Let me know if you are interested as we may possibly be able to find a solution that works well for both.
