Since I bought new Powerbook, "ole reliable" has to find a new home.

The specs:

G4 400 mhz Titanium
15" screen
1 GB RAM (2 x 512)
20 GB Hard drive
CD/DVD-ROM
2 Batteries (both still hold a good charge)
1 Power adapter (graphite yo-yo type that came with it
1 Firewire port
2 USB ports
Airport card installed
Ethernet
modem
SVGA port
SVGA to component adapter included
VGA port
Audio out
PCMCIA slot
Fresh install of Panther (no discs-I can install Jaguar if you wish)
Jaguar discs and OS 9 disc included
Original box and packaging
I believe I have all of the original documentation and discs which will be included as I gather them all.

Condition:
The lid is in excellent shape - maybe some minute small scratches not noticable unless you look closely. The Apple logo still lights up too.
The bottom case has some surface scratches with one rubber foot replaced.
There are no dents or gouges. The laptop has never been dropped.
The screen still works great. There is a faint line from the keys that I couldn't get off because of fear of rubbing too hard.
The palm rest/trackpad have some faint "dark spots/wear" due to it being almost 4 years old.

Everything still works great and it has been rock solid and stable. I'll post pics later showing details of described elements above. I did an extensive Apple hardware test and everything turned up fine.

Before it goes on ebay, I thought I'd offer it here for $600 + shipping. I'll only ship within continental US. Money order preferred, but can accept Paypal or cc over the phone.

If you need a CDRW drive, I'll include a matching SmartDisk bus powered (no pwoer cord needed) FW 24x CD-R/RW drive for an additional $100. It works with iTunes and Finder burning just fine. It is a small 5.4" x 5.4" x .8" size with included pouch and FW cable, box, etc.

PM or email me.
Thanks.
I have no lid upon my head. But if I did, you
could look iniside and see what's on my
mind.

As promised, here are some pics:

Detail of scratches on bottom:

Detail of 2 scratches on palm rest:

Detail of hairline crack in corner:

And the Firewire CDRW drive, bus powered:

Probably many sellers wouldn't show you such details but I like to be upfront so you know what your getting. Hopefully the pics show you enough to avoid any problems after the sale.

This outfit did cost me close to $3000 when I bought it new but still cranks along great. The extra RAM helps quite a bit. It'll probably go to ebay in the next couple of days so if you have questions or are interested, please contact me.
