I purchased this ibook new earlier this year and the original 1-year Applecare is still in effect till approx. February 2005. (I will check my receipt for the exact date.) This iBook is in like new condition save for some expected scuffs on the bottom of the case. The lid has had an iSkin protective cover (not included) on it since the first week and therefore looks like new. Likewise, the screen is flawless with no dead or stuck pixels. All original packaging, accessories and software is included. Battery still holds an excellent charge with enough to play most average length DVD movies completely, or about 3-4 hours of normal usage. (I honestly used this ibook sparingly, and it shows, as I have a G4 desktop that handles my heavy stuff.)
*BTW - This was the last OS 9 booting iBook Apple made.
