Did a stupid thing and tore the display cable on the 5300ce display I'm using for a digital photo frame project. If only they were half an inch longer!

Anyway, if anyone has a dead PB sitting around, is there a chance you've got the display ribbon you can stick in an envelope? Looking to pay about $5 for this thing.

Thanks!

The internal display cable is different on the 5300c, ce, and cs (I have taken apart all 3 of them and know that this is the case). If you have the display from the ce then you need a cable from another ce. This is kindof a bummer since it is harder to find the ce displays.

Really? I figured c and ce would be the same as they're both active matrix. Thanks much for the info!

Sadly, they are not. I thought that they would be, but I found out the hard way. BTW, do you have any idea how to hook up one of those displays as a normal VGA display? I have always wanted to, but never knew how.
