hi friends. ok, decided to go the Powermac route so i am selling my mint condition Mac Mini as of now... figured i'd give the MacNN collective first shot at her before heading to ebay. i ordered this unit the day of the keynote, 6 minutes after the Apple store came back online (11:37 AM PST!) and it has been not really been used at all, condition is mint and all accessories and disks are included, along w/ the original packaging (mint also). the specs of this unit are:
G4 1.42GHz CPU
256MB system memory (never got around to upgrading it, you do it!)
80GB hard drive
Superdrive option (installled model is 835f!)
Airport Extreme & Bluetooth
iLife '05 & all OS disks
like i said, this system is mint and nothing is missing.
current price for this configuration at the Apple Store is $798 exactly, plus close to $70 in sales taxes... also, current estimated shipping time quoted by Apple is now 3-4 weeks.
i want to get $800 for the machine, which includes *Fedex 2-day* shipping anywhere w/in the continental US. you save some money and get the machine quickly via Fedex, instead of joining the 'queue'.
i prefer Paypal payments, but will only accept them from 'verified' Paypal users and will only ship to confirmed address. will also accept postal money orders or cashiers checks, but would need them mailed to me quickly. if no MacNN'er wants to snap up my unit i will list it on eBay this tuesday. sorry, not really looking at any trades for this one, need the cash to put towards a Powermac..!
i have an extensive eBay history of positive feedback under the nickname 'cyberoptik' (never one complaint!), and have bought/sold/traded extensively over at Arstechnica.
