Machine is in excellent condition - no major scratches/gouges or bad pixels. Unit was replaced by a 15" Powerbook quite some time ago - has been sitting in the box ever since. I am the original owner (purchased from Amazon). Unit is 100% complete as new with all original packaging, documentation, media....down to the twist ties and plastic removed from the power adapter. iBook was always used in a clean smoke free environment.
Hard drive will be restored to the original out of the box configuration. I upgraded the RAM to the 640MB max, and added an AirPort card. I was recently made aware there were logic board issues in some of these models (I never experienced). After hearing that, I took to the local Apple Store and they sent the unit in for a logic board replacement since it fell into the serial number range. I can provide all the paperwork - as it includes a 90 day warranty for the repair or any other associated problems. I did notice they also replaced the keyboard.
Bottom casing does show very minimal signs of wear, but nothing major (light sratches similar to a CD that has seen some use) the majority of which can be buffed out with some plastic polish. I can take as many pictures as you'd like to acurrately represent the condition of the iBook.
