Do you have any references like heatware or eBay? Also, do you take PayPal?

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by references. If you mean user feedback ratings, I haven't received any yet.

>Also, do you take PayPal?

Yes. You can use paypal or a credit card through paypal without creating a paypal account.

I think by references he means you are new here and probably need to establish yourself before anyone will send you money.

Also Shipping insurance is for the Shipper.
The stuff belongs to the shipper until it arrives and is Received.
Most carriers will deal only with the shipper on a damage claim.
It does not seem right to me for the buyer to pay to cover the shippers butt.

I don't understand why more people don't seem to get this concept.

Good Luck

You don't think it's a great deal for 8 month old G4 notebook, even with the shipping? Ok, I'll pay for the shipping as well, so it's $700 for G4 notebook. We bought this notebook to do a few months of software development work which has now ended. I'm not a regular mac user so I'm not going to have any references on a mac forum. I just figured that someone who is a mac user would like to get it for a great price, that's why I came here.

Also he mentioned eBay so I think he was talking about exactly what I said, but only he knows.

Most auctions require the buyer to pay for shipping.

If I had the extra cash right now this would be mine. Since you take PayPal I wouldn't have a problem doing a transaction with you. IMO this would be a great deal for someone. Good luck with the sale.

Well that is not what I said.
I said "shipping insurance" not shipping and insurance.

I don't have any problem with the buyer paying for the shipping but the INSURANCE is for the seller, thats all.

This does sound like a good deal but people also like to be cautious.

I see nothing wrong with charging the buyer with shipping costs, if that is what is agreed between the two parties.

And the iBook looks like a good deal. If I had the money just sitting around, I'd probably have to pick it up .

I really am thinking of pulling the trigger on this deal. Are there any dead pixels or anything else to know about. Do you have a high-res pic or two you can email to apaulrogers at gmail dot com? Alsom can I pay for faster shipping with my UPS account?
