Hello everybody,

I've decided to look into selling my G4. It is of the 'Digital Audio' variant and is upgraded out the wazoo. For those of you unfamiliar with the 'Digital Audio' line, it is probably because it is the forgotten G4 generation. Basically, it is a QuickSilver motherboard in an older style G4 case.

133MHz system bus.
Three RAM slots for a max of 1.5GBs of RAM.
Four PCI slots.
One AGP 4x slot.
AirPort card slot.

System specifications are as follows:

1.47GHz Motorola PowerPC G4/7455B with 2MBs of L3 cache. This is a GigaDesigns upgrade card, the highest quality upgrades on the Mac market, and currently sells for $380 + shipping. The massive L3 cache allows the 1.47GHz G4 to best G5s as fast as 1.8GHz in many tasks. Upgrades as fast as Dual 1.8GHz are available for this machine now.

1.5GBs of PC-133 Crucial RAM. This is the machine's maximum. All three DIMMs are identical CL-3 Crucials. I'm really anal about hardware, so if you're like me you appreciate having matching DIMMs. New from Crucial, this RAM currently sells for $300.

ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB Mac Edition, retail. I bought this card just a few days ago, had it shipped overnight. She works great and is currently running at XT speeds. VGA and DVI. Original everything included. I paid $255-shipped for this on Thursday night.

A LiteON 16x DVD-ROM drive, black bezel. 100% supported by Apple in Mac OS X.

A FirmTek SeriTek Serial-ATA PCI card. Arguably, the best Serial-ATA PCI card for the Mac. Currently sells for $70.

Two 160GB Serial-ATA Seagate Barracuda 7200.7s with 8MBs of cache, for a total of 320GBs. Very fast. Very quiet. Very awesome. Currently selling for $220-shipped from NewEgg, plus the cost of cables.

This is about as good as a G4 gets, I love the sucker to death. But I've pushed her as far as I'm willing to due to financial constraints and I'm starting to think that the time for us to part company has come.

I'm looking for $1300 with shipping or best offer. I'd prefer a personal check or money order due to PayPal fees, but will take PayPal if it is necessary.

Pictures available upon request.
