Here is a list of Parts that I have that will work for either model of the Pimso Powerbook

14"LCD w/ hinges and airport antenna. No dead pixes on screen-$150
Brand new battery bought in Feb '05 from OWC. 4-4.5hr charge-$100
2 yo-yo style power adapters-$25 each
Airport card (802.11b)-$50
Keyboard-$15
1 512MB chip of RAM-$60
1 64MB chip of RAM-$20

All this has been pulled from a working Pismo that just recently died. There parts are all functional. I am not selling anything else because that is were the problem lies and I dont know what is good or not. I also have the top and bottom half of the case if anyone is interested.

I also have the hard drive for sale. It is 20GB 4200rpm drive. Its yours for $50.

I have a CD drive that works fine but it is missing the faceplate. I have a DVD drive as well that sometimes it doesn't like to read CDs but if you pop it out and put it back in, it will read if fine. Both for sale for $25.

What luck for people needing Pismo Parts: The hard drive of my pismo crashed.

So, essentially I have a Pismo G3 500mhz, with DVD/ZIP, Good 3 hour battery, and such availible. Only one dead pixil on the screen, but it could be dust since it just popped up before it died. One stick of 64mb and one stick of 256mb. Yo-Yo Adapter, etc. The fan was just replaced and so was the sound card.

Before I post all the prices of individual parts, I'll get rid of the entire pismo (should only need a new hard drive) for $270. The fan was just replaced and so was the sound card.

If I don't get any responses, I'll follow up with a part and price list.

At first I offered to buy the whole thing from the guy, but when he mentioned he'd sell parts separately, I asked for the processor card. Now, after we had a deal made, it gets sold to another guy.
