Superdrive upgrade available for white iBook models and Pismo models.
I am selling a Sony DW-U50A superdrive which if you are courageous enough to dissassemble, will serve as a direct retrofit. With patchburn, you will be able to burn natively within OSX. xlr8yourmac.com has excellent reviews in the drive database.

This drive is a pull from a Sony GRT series laptop and will fit into your iBook w/o modification. If your existing optical drive is made by Sony, than the bezel (faceplate) will fit w/o any issue.
