I wanna swap the superdrive in my G5 for a combo drive.
Anyone wanna upgrade or just sell me their combo drive?

Anyone know of a place to buy replacements online?

Let me get this straight. You want to trade a super drive for a combo drive? I did exactly the opposite when I got my G5. I took the combo out and installed a super. I've got the combo, brand new if you wanna trade we can arrange something. I've never done a trade though. How do we both feel comfortable that the other has shipped the drive?

If a trade doesn't work out, you can always pick up a $40 combo drive on NewEgg and have it be significantly faster than an Apple OEM combo drive. I wouldn't get an Apple drive if I didn't have to.

Heres my situation, I sold my G5 tower to a company Im working for.
The coworker that will be using the tower doesnt know what a superdrive even is.
So i figured there would be someone out there that could appreciate it more and I could make a few bucks or get something for trade.
