I need an older mac tower for my grandmother. Shes just moving back into her old house that got severely damaged from Hurricane Ivan, Her trusty old LCIII got squashed by a soaking wet ceiling and died. The desk someone gave her is perfect for a tower. If you have any old mac tower like a performa 6400 or a powermac 8500/8600 she would greatly appreciate it. A desktop mac would work as well if I cant find her a tower. She doesn't have any money to buy a replacement Mac (all she knows is the Mac), because shes spent a lot of her money on repairs from the hurricane. I'm giving her my spare 17" monitor and keyboard and mouse so all I need is the computer itself. I will pay shipping for the computer. Please help me out..

thanks

well a g3 would really be overkill for what she does
-claris works
-solitaire
-couple of other little games

All that she does now is possible on the LCIII and usually people can make a little money selling a beige g3...the older machines are so cheap now that their value is actually less than the cost to ship it (now if someone wants to donate a g3....I'll gladly take it). Thats why I'm asking for any donor machines. Even if the drives are bad. I could fiix that. please please help me and her out!

thanks
