Hi everyone. It's time to part with my powerbook. I have a 15inch G4 1.33, 60G, 256mg PB I'm looking to sell. I just bought it as a "refreshed model" this past October, as I really have no need for it's "mobility" anymore (plus it's too expensive for me to have as a "backup" Mac). It's got bluetooth, a combo drive, Airport Express, PC slot, etc. The battery holds a completely full charge, and I also have all the discs for it as well. The only caveat is that it was dropped once while in it's Incase backpack, creating a small dent on the left hand front corner of the PB (and about a one millimeter gap in the casing. I did have it checked out at the Apple Store afterwards and they assured me that there was nothing wrong with the computer, just a cosmetic issue;and it's performed flawlessly for me since I've had it.
I'm asking $1200 for it, or I'll consider a trade for a 12" iBook and some cash. I'd prefer a local buyer/trader (in the greater NY/NJ area), so they could inspect the PB for themselves (as I don't have a digital camera), but it's not a necessity.
Please email me with any questions or interest, rather than PMing me here on the boards. I'll be happy to answer anything you might need to know. Thanks for your interest.

I just read your post and was hoping you could answer a question for me. I have just done the exact same thing you described to my 15" Al powerbook. I dropped it in its case and it landed on the left front corner. That part of my case does not provide much protection, so now there is a dent right in the corner. Everything seems to bew working fine, other than the dent, the PB wobbles when on a flat surface.
I was wondering if when you took the PB to the Apple Store, did they give you a quote to repair the case? Also, how did they knwo everyting inside was OK? Did they take it and inspect it? I've also heard rumors that dropping your PB will void the warranty, was wondering if this ever came up.
Thanks for your help.
-Vince
