I have a Dell 700m that I would like to trade for a recent revision Powerbook (1.33ghz or better). 12" or 15". I would trade straight up for a 12", or add some cash for the 15". I would actually prefer the 12", but I know that 15" cost more. Don't really need superdrive, since I don't find myself using the DVD+/-RW drive on my 700m all that much.

specs for the 700m:
1.6ghz Dothan
512mb PC2700 sodimm (1 stick, 1 slot open)
8X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW drive
2 Batteries (1-8cell, lasts about 5 hours, and 1 4 cell, lasts about 2.5 hours)
40gb 5400rpm Hitachi Travelstar
12.1" Widescreen glossy brightview-type LCD
It will also come with a fresh install of Windows XP pro and Office 2000 premium which includes: Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Access, PowerPoint, FrontPage

Please PM or post here if you're interested.

You'll probably do better selling it; not too many folks hungry for PCs around here!

thanks Mithras. That's kind of what I thought, but I've gotten a few offers here and there. Just not exactly what I was looking for.

oh well...if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.

I didn't have much shopping my 700m around either here-people are just too satisfied with their Macs. I'd recommend the Anandtech forum board if you're looking for an Ebay-less sale.
