I want to trade my Gateway SOLO 3450 that is in great condition for an Apple iBook that is also in good condition. The iBook I would like to trade for should have similar specs to this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...29592&rd=1 and must have a working battery and must have good hinges (not sure if this is an issue with Apple laptops because I've never had one).

Here are the specs of the 3450:

Windows XP Home (COA on bottom of computer)
750mhz mobile P3 CPU
192mb or 256mb (can't remember which off hand) RAM
40gb hard drive (this is custom, the only hard drive sizes that were available for this computer were 10gb or 20gb)
12.1" screen with NO dead pixels and BRAND NEW hinges (purchased from www.mundocorp.com) so this screen is nice and tight
S3 Savage IX video card 8mb
DVD-ROM drive (bezel doesn't match) and 3.5 floppy drive on the slice dock w/ extra plugs, etc.
1 regular battery that will hold a charge for about 30-45 minutes depending on usage
1 extended battery that will hold a charge for about 3 hours depending on usage

For more in-depth specs, visit http://support.gateway.com/support/m...49/8508149.htm .

I will also include the CD-ROM drive that came with this computer that has the matching bezel but does not have the caddy since I moved it to the DVD-ROM drive, but that can be easily switched from the DVD-ROM with 4 screws. Sometimes the DVD-ROM drive is fussy in DOS, but it works PERFECTLY in Windows with CDs and DVDs, so that is why I am including the CD-ROM drive that came with it.

Also included is a D-Link DWL-650+ PCMCIA wireless network adapter and a very nice leather case. I also have all four CDs that came with the computer (1 drivers, 1 operating system, and 2 applications), but I do not have the manual.
