My trusty powerbook's LCD is giving up, and instead of fixing it, I'd like to sell it and buy a new one. It's a second gen PB G4, 550mhz with 512mb of RAM and a 20 GB hard drive, dvd-cdrw drive and an airport card.
Everything works perfect except for the LCD. The LCD used to show garbage, but now it's developed a problem where it has a permanently bright area in the upper right. The first time it did this, Apple replaced the LCD under Applecare, and the problem went away. Now, Applecare has expired, so no free fix for me.
The case shows a little wear in all the usual places, there's some scratches on nothing the bottom, but nothing major. The LCD hinges are in good shape.
It'd make a great parts machine, or a fixer upper.
comes with 2 batteries, power adapter, and original install, restore and test CDs.
