I came home from work today to see this on my doorstep:

An LC520. 68030, 25MHz, 160MB, 12MB RAM, 2X CD.

The problem is, the owner who graciously donated it to my "Mac museum" lost the CD tray. It also is lacking an ethernet PDS card (for file transfer, etc.).

I am asking the generous visitors of this forum if they have either of these two pieces of hardware and if they can find it in their hearts to donate (or sell quite cheaply) these items to me to preserve this piece of history. I will pay the shipping which should be around $5-7 for these items.

If you have these items in your basement and were just about to throw them away, could you PM me and help keep an old Mac alive? I would be very gracious.

(I know I can find these items on ebay. But those people want outrageous prices either for the item or for shipping. I'm not going to dump a ton of cash into this thing, just a few bucks to make it the better. Why not help out a fellow Mac user?)

I had the things you are looking for recently. I posted them up here for someone if they would only pay shipping. Nobody seemed to want them so I had to toss them unfortunately. I will take a look and see if I have anything else. Hopefully I didn't toss everything.

I might be able to help you on the ethernet card, but it's going to be at least a week. I have an LC575 with one. At least, I believe I do.

PDS card is on the way. Does anybody have either 32MB simms or a 1GB SCSI hard drive?
