I recently had a project that required my work while I was out of town. My only option was to buy a laptop to get me through the project. I bought the newest 12" Powerbook model, maxed out the RAM, and got my work done. It's been a great computer, and I've babied the thing over the past copule of a months (bought it in late June). There are no visible scratches, blemishes, or dead pixels on the screen.

Here are the specs:

12" Powerbook
Combo Drive
1.5ghz G4 PowerPC Processor
1.25gb of RAM (kingston)
60gb Hard Drive
Built in Bluetooth and Airport Extreme
Mac OS 10.4 Tiger Installed
iLife 05 Installed
Original Packaging, etc.

I'm asking $1250 shipped, but I'm obviously open to any reasonable offer. The retail for these, as I'm sure you know, is $1500 before adding 1GB of RAM, which costs around $200. Just PM me with any offers and we'll go from there!

Pics are below.

I have a 14" spanking new ibook I'd trade, though it sounds like you're not intersted in another laptop. PM me if you are....cheers.

Hey, thanks for asking but I would rather just sell it. I simply don't need a laptop anymore, and I'm about to move ... so I need to buy lots of new apartment stuff!

I thought I'd give MacNN people first crack at it before ebaying it.

Didn't really get any offers, so I'm putting it on ebay.

After having the winning bidder back out on me, I thought I'd try to sell again here to save some fees, etc.

$1250 shipped. This is really a bargain given that this is a virtually brand new laptop with maxed out RAM.

Sorry guys, I'd like to sell it for cash, and keep everything intact. $1250 is a really good deal for this computer, and I"m kind of surprised I haven't seen much interest for it.
