Greetings - I'm selling off my beloved 17" G4 iMac to try and fund the purchase of a 20" G4 iMac. It is an extremely well cared for machine. Purchased with a 512mb DIMM installed in the factory slot instead of the stock 256mb DIMM. Plus has an additional 256mb DIMM in the user-accessible slot for a total of 768mb upgradeable to 1.5gb without having to crack it open. Comes with stock 80gb hard drive and a SuperDrive. Original Apple accessories (keyboard, optical mouse, pro speakers) as well as an additional wireless mouse are included. Also included are all of the original manuals and software CDs. Finally, and best of all, extended AppleCare coverage was purchased on this product and is good until NOVEMBER 13, 2006!!! Review of ebay sales shows few with AppleCare remaining - the one that did sell went for $1160 but had an upgraded hard drive, the ones without AppleCare averaged $950. I think $1000 is a fair asking price, buyer pays insured shipping which will probably be about $25 or $30 by FedEx Ground. Counteroffers and offers for trades are accepted...
EDIT: I have all positive heatware under 'savoirfaire'
