Ok, so I goofed. In my rush to get a laptop over the weekend, I actually put up two winning bids on Ebay. They were both local sales, so I've already picked them both up, and I've decided to keep the iBook and sell the Powerbook. I don't want to make a profit off of it, I just want to sell it for what I paid. Here's what's included:
Pismo G3 500MHZ--excellent shape
256mb RAM
12gb HD
DVD
Two swappable batteries (both hold great charge)--will get a better time estimate tonight
VST 100MB media bay zip drive
VST SuperDISK media bay drive (w/ one new superdisk)
A/C adapter
Targus leather laptop bag
OS9 boot disks, but 10.1 is currently installed
I can have pics available on request.
$435 shipped in the cont. USA

Has firewire, you will need a pcmcia card (or cardbus if it supports cardbus, I think so) for usb 2.

I can offer 300 dollars shipped without the batteries, Superdrive or ZIP drive. The reason is because I'd be planning on getting 2 high cap batteries for it, so I won't need any of those things.

Instead of citing it a as a "Pismo" which only the Mac crowd undersands, cite it as the "Carrie Bradshaw Sex & The City" model and not only will you get more interest, but ultimately more money.
An acquaintance of mine in NYC with the assistance of his girlfriend managed to sell a mint condition Pismo 500mhz for $650 to their coworker. The purchaser just had to have it since it was the model featured in the show. He mentioned that he probably could have asked for more, but luckily cooler winds prevailed and his girlfriend did not let him try to exploit the buyer.
