I am just testing the waters to see what inerest there is. I have a mac mini 1.25 OC'd to 1.5 been running for months at this speed. 1GB of ram, internal drive removed, and running off of a Firewire 80GB 7200 RPM drive. I just dont use it as much as I thought, make me an offer if interested. Looking for $500 shipped. *PRICE DROP*

Do you have the original internal drive to go with it?

no i have a 20GB drive tho. but even the orig was slow, you would be better off going firewire or buying a new drive.

Are you including the Firewire drive with it?

OK, I'm strongly tempted.
Just so we're on the same page, I need a new test system for one of our programmers to test Mac stuff on. I was going to get one fromt he Apple store, but the memory boost here makes this look pretty worth it, and the Faster drive is a fair tradeoff. It's faster, but it's more parts to have to deal with. The original one is a lot less fragile

I'm worried about the OCing. It'll make it run faster for him, but I'm worried about reliablility.

You said it's run Seti at home without problems. What else is on the system?

Can you confirm a few things?

It's running 10.4 without problems?
How do you want payment?
Where are you located?
You'll put the 20GB back in, as you mentioned above?

I have had the box up the past several months running 10.4 and there has not once been a issue with stability. Now that is without the internal drive, so the temp i slower, I could lock it back down if there is a concern. Paypal is prefered payment, but ill take money order also. I am in Fort Worth,TX, and yes i can put the 20GB drive i have back in.
