Hello everyone! I'd like to know if anyone may be interested in buying my 12" PowerBook G4. It has served me well over the past year, but I'm getting ready to upgrade and would like to know if I can help it find a new home.

The specs are as follows:

1.33 GHz PowerPC G4
1.25 GB RAM (upgraded from 256 MB)
60 GB HDD
64 MB nVidia GeForce 5200 Go
AirPort Extreme & Bluetooth
4x SuperDrive (CD-RW/DVD±RW)
AppleCare (2yrs remaining)

I will also include the original software install/restore discs, as well as a Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger DVD (not a copy, the original disc).

The PowerBook is in immaculate condition - no scratches, dents, etc. There is a single stuck pixel near the bottom edge of the screen - it's red, but it hasn't bothered me.

I paid close to $2000 when I brought it brand-new from the Apple Store between the computer itself and AppleCare, and spent an additional $200 on the extra 1GB of RAM that was professionally installed by an Apple Store technician.

A refurbished model without AppleCare and no additional RAM can be had from the Apple Store for $1299. I'm looking for $1350 for the entire package, shipped (will send insured via FedEx). I'm perfectly willing to negotiate a price, though.

If you are interested, please e-mail or iChat me at mike.bulmer@mac.com

Thanks!

I am interested in a purchase, as my Powerbook 550 is now failing (the monitor and CD Drive). Would you sell it without the HD? (I'll purchase it with). Will you accept a trade for my PB (only looking for maybe 400ish in value).

Thank you for your time.

Thanks for your interest, gnomexp, but I am not looking for trades. I can remove the hard drive if you want, but seeing I'd have no use for it, I'd rather keep the thing in one piece.

Understood..... I'll probably wait for the new upgrades and pray I can find money for a new one.

Thanks!
