I'm still running the now ancient 10.3.6 on my mirror door G4 tower and I think it's time I joined the modern world. Does anyone have a spare installer disc for sale by any chance? i would rather not shell out the $$$ for a new retail copy. I see people selling used copies on Ebay and I thought that someone here might have one as well.

I got tiger that im willing to sell for 35 shipped. I bought it hoping to install it on my powerbook but apparently it only works on powermacs. Let me know if you are interested.

Better double check this disc... there are no 10.4 Retail Install discs that work with only PowerBooks or PowerMacs unless this is a disc that shipped WITH a system, in which case it will only work for that system and not older ones.

those system-only disks are "Restore Disks", and should ALWAYS be referred to as such, to avoid ANY confusion...........

"Retail Disks", OTOH, are those for sale/purchased at retail/online stores, which will work on ANY mac capable of running OS X....
