I am selling an 8 month old cooldrives 4 bay firewire 400 tower. It is set to
Master/Slave. Unit features four removeable drive caddies, each with their own fans.
I will sell this unit for $85 shipped. It is rather large and heavy. I have two big 500gb
drives, and no longer need this. pics available upon request. Item sold as is, paypal
add 3%. I should mention this unit has Oxford 911 chips, but is NOT compatible with
Maxtor drives.

Just to help sale value, why is it not compatible with maxtor drives? The oxford uploader lets you customize a good bit and I think I read about it fixing possible drive incompatibilities.

I get email you some when I get home this afternoon. I also have a single coolgear unit,
I will sell for $25 extra. If you work in multiple locations, you can take which ever caddy you
need with you. it is firewire/usb 2

What size drives will the Oxford 911 controller see? anything bigger than 120 GB?

these support up to 300. I had a 300 in one of the trays.
