I'm switching to a sleeve only case for my 17" PB.

Bought this from the Apple store about 8 months ago for $150. Great bag, excellent protection for our Powerbooks. Has a removable padded sleeve.

This is the previous generation Brenthaven case, see the pic below. IMHO it looks better than the current Brenthaven

It has never been traveled with, just taken to work. Home -> Car -> Office and back.

It is in perfect condition, you can't even tell it has been used.
