I have 3 vary broken ipods (1 1st gen and 2 2nd gen); some of them have all the parts and some do not. By very broken, I mean that more than one part in the ibod is broken / missing. I can provide more detailed descriptions and pictures if you are intrested. They do not come with any assoated cables, etc. unless you want some damaged earbuds. If you want one or more of then I can sell them cheap. If you want to trade tell me what you have to offer.

They are a 1st gen (no hard drive), a 20GB 2nd gen (no drive or diaplay), and a 10GB 2nd gen.

I got the three ipods off ebay over a year ago. They were broken, and it turns out that the seller (or someone before him) had cherry picked the parts. Some of them clearly had bad parts swapped into them in the past. For example, the 20GB 2nd gen had a bad hard drive and a bad display. I never bothered to test the batteries, but I assume they are bad. I took them apart, goofed with them, and but them back together; I managed to get 1 good motherboard from one of the 2nd gens and swapped it out for one with a flakey audio connector. Also, I removed the hard drive from the 20GB 2nd gen and the 1st gen, as well as the display from the 20.. Otherwise, I did not cause any notable damage to them when I took them apart with the exception of a couple of dings on the case, which hardly seems important given the giant dent in the scroll wheel on the 1st gen.

Anyway, I don't think that these are worth much, but they would ebay for a little (my telling the buyer what they are really like makes the price tank though). The big problem with any sale would be converting the money into US dollars. Also, I would have to go pester the post office about international shipping. I am thinking around $25 US plus shipping for the three of them; most of the cost is because I will have to goof with shipping, currency exchanges, packing, etc. If you are interested I can check the postage (I will need enough of a destination to calculate postage), and I can then check into what paypal would want to convert the currency - I am sure that paypal fees will add another few dollars.
