basically a brand new, used for about 2-3 months one to two times per week ibook for sale, selling due to holiday shopping needs, so my loss is your gain. its the basic 999.99$ model, figure in tax, and thats 1050. im asking for:

800$ plus shipping. also, if you want to pay me an extra 70$ and wait for awhile, i can up this to 1 gig of ram as well. its the basic model with this installed right now:

12.1
40gig HDD
512 ram
combo drive
AE/BT (extreme)
comes with tiger OSX, and Ilife05
also have the poweradapter, and everything else that came with it, including the box from apple. as of right now, everything on the ibook works, and it still has 8-9 months left of the first year of apple warranty anyways, so if something does go wrong, your covered. (can extend w/applecare for not too much more) if you are interested in this ibook, please email me @
Michael.davenport@gmail.com. id like to sell this fast, and if your in the milwaukee/madison area of wisconsin, you dont have to pay for shipping. Happy holidays people!

Be aware - prices on iBooks from Amazon have nosedived; this is $771 with Canon photo printer and Mighty Mouse, brand new.

well, i suppose if someone offers me that then thats fine, maybe, but you have to realize what a pain rebates etc. are, but hey, up to you folks i guess.

also, that was a price mistake, they were listed as 899.99 and you would get those rebates, its now @ 999.99 plus the rebates, so i dont think its 771.xx anymore.

Nope, no price mistake - that is the actual (end) price. A quick journey thru Amazon, adding the iBook to your cart, will demonstrate that. The math shown in the post is valid.
