I need money to pay off a rather ginormous credit card bill, so I've cleaned my room out and liquidating any unused gadgets. Most items will ship via USPS Priority Mail. I'm going out of town for a week beginning Dec. 27, so that will be the last day of the year I will be able to ship stuff. Please e-mail me if you would like to see pictures. PayPal payment would be preferable.

SOLD 1 GB PC2700 DDR333 SO-DIMM[/b] (Apple/Samsung brand)
Genuine Apple re-branded memory that is covered under AppleCare. Apple wants $300 (gah) for it, Crucial wants $200 (gah), but I think $90 is fair.

512 MB PC2-4200 DDR2-533 SO-DIMM (Apple/Samsung brand) - $40 shipped
Genuine Apple re-branded memory that is covered under AppleCare.

Waterfield Sleevecase for 12" laptop (vertical orientation) - $22 shipped
I purchased this for my 12" iBook and used it for three months before selling the laptop. It's been sitting in the original plastic bag ever since. Retails for $38 new.

SOLD M-Audio Revolution 7.1 PCI sound card - SHIPPED
I stopped using this card when I sold my Power Mac G5 a few months ago. I never used it for its multi-channel capabilities, but it still sounded much cleaner than any built-in sound card in the Macs I've owned. It is Mac and PC compatible.

160 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA HD - $75 shipped
Bought two of these for my G5, but I pulled it when the G5 sold. I purchased this drive from Outpost.com earlier this year and much of the 5 year warranty still remains.

SOLD Mac NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 for G5 - $25 shipped
Pulled from a first-gen dual 1.8 G5 and it's been sitting in an anti-static bag since. It works fine and is only compatible with G5s. It has DVI and ADC connectors.

SOLD Netgear MR814 Router - $15 shipped SHIPPED
802.11b wireless router, also has four 10/100 Ethernet ports. Used it for a few months before buying an Apple AirPort Extreme Basestation.

SOLD ATI Remote Wonder II - $20 shipped SHIPPED
I got this but I hardly ever used it. It's really handy if you have a media center computer. Comes with remote and transceiver only. Works with Macs and PCs.

SOLD Griffin Lapel Mic - $10 shipped SHIPPED
Lapel mic designed for use with Griffin's iTalk, but you can use it with any recording device. I cut open the packaging to check it out, but I never actually used it. It's in brand new condition.

SOLD Belkin Universal Mic Adapter for iPod - $10 shipped SHIPPED
Brand new, still sealed. Gives 3G iPods a line in.

SOLD MS Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 - $6 shipped SHIPPED
Mouse and wireless transceiver only. I've only used it a few times and it's been sitting in my closet since.

SOLD Logitech USB Headset - $6 shipped SHIPPED
Taken out of packaging but never used. I don't know the model number though.

DVDs - $7 each shipped
Spy Game (WS)
The Score (WS)

I'm interested in the soundcard and remote control.
Do both items include the software discs? Printed manuals?
Could you get me a shipping quote (subtotal) to 91350?
Pics can be sent to isaacangeloNOSPAMPLZ@gmail.com (remove all letters in caps)
Thanks and Merry Christmas

Ok, people, I just wanted to let everyone know about my experience with this seller.

I, as can be seen, wrote the first reply saying I would take both for 25 shipped. Seller then pmed me that evening saying he would sell them to me by money order for that price. I then replied to him yesterday morning explaining that I would rather pay by paypal, and let him know that I would love to purchase them by paypal. Mind you I said I would take them.

He, then, sent me an email yesterday evening letting me know his paypal address, and in the mean time gets sent money for the headset and mouse and then proceeds to tell me, after I have sent the money this morning, that he has revoked my dibs and sold them to another person.

This is ridiculous and very innapropriate for this forum. Mods, I recommend this guy not be allowed to sell on here anymore. it just isn't right for someone to tell you they would sell you something, and then turn arouund and sell it to someone else.

And yes, i would like a refund!!

Wrong. I notified the people who had 2nd dibs late last night and I received payment for the items this morning. You can't prove otherwise unless you have access to my PayPal account.

I only need to offer the following quote in my defense:

I waited until well after 1 a.m. PST for your PayPal payment or an e-mail indicating you were going to pay soon. I received neither, so dibs were released as indicated by my post in this forum. There is something to be said for timeliness.

Subject: headset, etc

Hey there,

I'd still like the items - the headset, the router, and the intellimouse. But I would prefer to pay via paypal. If you would accept paypal, I will pay as soon as I get your go. Thank you.

Mike

I sent this email yesterday.

Then he sent an email back around 2pm. By this time I was gone. I shouldn't be expected to be at the computer 24/7. I paid the moment I woke up this morning.

But I did, in fact let him know I would pay. I showed genuine interest from the beginning, not just that e-mail.

Beware.

I sent you an email right afterwards saying I would pay by paypal. Period. I was going to buy the items. You don't just sell them to someone else at that point. Look, I don't know how the rest of you do business, but when someone tells you they will pay, you don't sell to someone else at that point.

Thank you for the refund.

You're right — I don't expect you to be at a computer 24/7. That is why I checked my e-mail and PayPal right before I went to bed, which was shortly before 2 a.m. I stated clearly in my post that your dibs would be released at the end of the day. What's not to understand? You didn't meet the deadline and the goods went to someone else. Thus is life.

Now get out of my FS thread or I will report you to the moderators for thread crapping. Take this to e-mail or PM.

Just sounds like a misunderstanding to me.
Or miscommunication.

It wasn't misscommunication. The communication was very explicit. And I'm not thread crapping, I just want everyone interested in buying from you to know the crap you pull.

It just sounds like mis-communication to me.

Mustangmikeua, unless there are other complaints, there's no reason to continue posting in this thread.

I received my memory from gizzard the yesterday, installed it, and everything worked great! I was out of town this past week and a half, but it was received within a couple of days! Very smooth transaction.

I was a little leary when I saw the previous person badmouthing gizzard, but he was true to his word. Everything worked, and I am the proud new owner of his old RAM.
