I have an 80 hr tivo series 2 in excellent condition, remote, cables, paperwork (basically everything but the box), I want a Nintendo Gamecube *or* DS in trade (please be clean/unscratched). I will ship first if you can demonstrate trust-worthiness with feedback, or backup from other forum members you have dealt with in the past. This tivo was used for 1 season of Alias and Tru Calling recording (I worked nights), then simply put in storage. They go for $150 new after rebate. I *have* checked it and it works fine.

I'm going out on a limb here. I just got screwed for the first time ever in an online deal on the HardOCP forums this month. I figure the used value of what I have and what I am looking for are comparable, and we can simply ignore shipping charges and swap.

I *can* provide pics, simply reply here or message me, and I'll put your name on a sheet of paper and take a pic with it and the tivo/accessories, or whatever you want proof wise. I have ebay feedback as well.

Thanks!

I have to think about it, but I might be interested. I haven't touched my GC in a while, and I wouldn't mind replacing my tivo so that I can switch to VOIP. If you aren't in a rush I'll check on some things and get back to you.

I havent had anyone jump on it yet, and swapping with a mod would make me much more comfortable, so sure. I didnt even know you could use a tivo for voip, but then there were a lot of new services I didnt subscribe to. The most I ever did was plug in a usb wireless adapter (netgear), found my network, and let the tivo get updates nightly from the net. (this was much better than having it dial the phone)

Do I assume correctly that you had a month to month subscription and the box doesn't have a lifetime subscription? I might be interested.

My Tivo needs a phone line, and VOIP lines don't work. By getting a Series 2, I can have it use the internet connection, thus letting me get VOIP. I'll let you know, but don't hold it for me.
