Now, I have an 800mhz iBook G3 for sale, it has been appraised by pbfixit.com and that's the price I'm using it's FIRM (MAYBE negotiable), and I will not go much lower.

PBFixit.com Quote:

640mb of RAM
30gb Hardrive
Airport Card
New Keyboard
New Battery (might also include extra)
No OS loaded for legal reasons
CD Drive

Price: $600 FIRM although it may be negotiable. Also interested in trades.

Payment + Shipping:

iBook will be well packed and shipped by UPS via Ground Service (or 2 day or overnight, buyer pays for expediated shipping).

I have great feedback on eBay (amacgenius) and great references on MacRumors.

Why are you selling without an OS? Every Mac is licensed to have an OS installed (which is probably supposed to be 10.2 with this machine) since you can't purchase a computer from Apple without the OS.

What are the legal reasons for taking it off?

You say no OS loaded but then your pictures show a computer clearly containing an OS.

Computer isn't much good without the OS.

You can't sell a computer with an OS unless you include the discs to that OS, and I don't have the discs to give away, and the computer was running Tiger as shown in the pictures.

So you purchased a computer that had an OS on it, but now you're selling one without it?

The seller I bought it from on eBay included it with an OS, but I'm lowering the price to $550 and I took off the eBay auction and I would be willing to put a clean install of Tiger on.
