Hey guys, just goin to get rid of my Clamshell. I think I will just finish up fixing my PBG4, so I need money for parts. You guys know what the clamshell is all about... it's the 300Mhz PowerPC G3 model..and its blueberry
The laptop is physically sound and functionally well. No cracks or anything on the case. Everything is where it is suppose to be, even the logos.
It's 300mhz...3 Gb HD....160 Mb RAM.....Mac OSX Panther 10.3
Has ethernet, phone line port, sound out, CD drive, Two batteries, A/C YoYo adapter, and a laptop bag.
I'm looking to get $235 for the laptop, but your best offer I'll consider. Please leave me a message. Thanks!

It is probably the stock 3GB hard drive that came in the first release iBooks. The first release also had 32MB RAM on the board where the later models had 64MB.

Yes this is true. The HD is the stock 3 Gb. The onboard RAM was 32Mb. I added a 128 mb chip in it since that's the only 144-pin sodimm I had. The computer works completely fine though. It's just that I have noone else to give the laptop to in my family since I've completely converted them to the Mac platform after they used this ibook. It's in great condition and I have the pix up. It's been well kept.

I still have my blueberry that gets used on a daily basis. The clamshells are the best iBook IMO and I will probably have mine for another 2-3 years.

i was just playing with one of these the other day. really easy to take apart to swap out the drive. directions are on pbfiit.com. remember that they're only supported through panther and have no firewire. that said, they're more than capable as a first mac.

Yeah it is... and if I had a new copy of Tiger... I could possibly put Tiger in there...thru the means of a Powerbook.
