Two spanking new iPods I'm willing to let go for $350usd each w/ shipping (negotiatble), still sealed. I had receieved them as gifts (yes, lucky me , but am already happy with what I have.

Everything is in standard original packaging. No overseas buyers, and only genuine buyers please. Payment + shipping via cash on collect (COD). Sorry, no paypal - I've had bad experiences using it :/

I am willing to post pictures of it if anyone wants it!

I just wanted to know , are you a potential buyer heh or just giving feedback ..i'm sorry though I can't accept other methods unless somebody is willing to send through WU i'll be fine with that but there are scammers with that. COD will be just a safe way of doing a money order..

I don't post much, but I do see these type of posts come and go frequent enough.

Do youhave an ebay id or anything else to help with "credibility"? 2 posts and a money order requirement probably isn't going to get you very far.

I have to agree. We've seen too many great deals with no safety net to know better. eBay ID? Alternative ID from another forum in which you've sold stuff? Anything at all?

Anybody ever notice that these types of sales usually come from new members who all happen to have had 'bad experiences' using PayPal in the past?

As for you mr 5,500 posts..paypal locked my account because i was selling tons of things on ebay for 1 day auctions since i find that they are better if you have lots of things to sell...and

Alexx1257 is my ebay account name if you want to be a real dick you can put up a auction for me to bid on that costs like 1 cent or something.. to prove that it is my id.

And how is this too graet of a deal when the ipod 60gb vid costs $400 retail buddy..

so how is a buyer to be sure you will send what you say you have? what is to keep you from sending just anything in the box after recieving yr COD payment? or at the very least a used ipod instead of a new in the shrink wrap...

all we are saying is COD and western union usually, almost 99% of the time is a scam. if you can't accept paypal or escrow most people won't chance it, especially with someone who is brand new to the site.

it's just advice, no reason to be upset...
as ever,
sonny

brilliant reply for someone thats trying to sell an item and gain trust from potential buyers

the people that replied are not trying to bash you, they are just telling you how it is. Im sure you can get your 350 on ebay very quickly, and if you have good feedback there shouldnt be a problem. but have a poor attitude + low post count =

best of luck.

ps. why would paypal kick you off for selling "tons" of things for 1 day auctions?

Since your asking us to take a risk, I will be more then happy to send you the money once you send me the ipod and I have a chance to make sure its legit. Its a risk, I know, but I have a stable paypal account, feedback on heatware and beer (ars) as well as smooth transactions here both via shipment and in person.

Best I could do for ya.

typically a hacker or some fraudster that stole a ebay account would want to sell as many things as he can in a short period of time before the victoms account is locked.. but I just like having a smooth income of money in a short period of time..

I changed my mind for the sake of you paranoid people. It kind of cuts down on who has low feedback...

I will ship the item first before you pay as long as you have high feedback and I have your contact details.

I now accept money order or cashier's check..

what are you some kinda racist ?

just messing around...the 2 ipods are both BLACK

I will ship the Ipod(s) as soon as I get a PM or E-mail ..i need it so that the buyer posts that he wants to buy the Ipod(s) publicly in this post incase there are issues and I have witnesses...

If you are a buyer then post in this thread saying so and PM me the address and everything and maybe some instant messaging contacts if you have them . I will give you the paypal email address (once i know you are buying it and i have your contact details) because I got a friend that could do it with paypal..

Received my black 60GB iPod, just as seller described!! I just sent him my payment via Paypal. He has been awesome to deal with, and came through in every way. Here's a fine example of a newbie who took a good faith chance and proved everyone wrong!!!!
Thanks alehandro!!!

Not to be nosey, but didn't he state a few times that he doesn't take PayPal...? If that is still true - who the heck did you send your money to .
