Here's the deal. I have a $1000 dollar gift certificate for Compusa. I received this as an incentive from compusa for the volume of the business I do with them through their rewards program.

So what's the problem? I don't need anything at compusa right now. My wife however, would like a new deck for the house, so I could use the cash.

I don't like the idea of selling the gift card straight, (too much potential for abuse) so I'm going to buy a brand new ibook for $999 from them and I'm selling it here. I'm looking to get 90 cents on the dollar (unless somebody wants to offer me more So you can get a brand new ibook sealed in the box for $900 dollars. I live in the portland oregon area, so that means no sales tax!

If you do purchase the ibook from me, I will ship it free as well, in the original factory sealed box with the original receipt.

This is not a scam, I have sold my old mac's on maccn before, all I want it to try and get some cash out of this card.

If you would prefer something other then an ibook, i can do that too, but I would have to reconsider my free shipping offer depending on the item's size. Remember I'm looking for 90 cents on the dollar.

Also check out my other listing for my lightly used Digital Rebel XT camera , 2 lenses and 4 gig flash card. (my wife really wants that deck. )

Heh... you should probably edit your post a bit... "9 cents on the dollar" is a whole lot less than $900. Good luck with everything.
