Does this model have 2 RAM slots?

If so, would it support 2 GB RAM total?

What's the battery like?

I'm sure he's not going to be around (at least with this name) but just wanted to be sure everyone knows that he's a scammer.

I lost $800 to this guy.

He sent me pics.

I wonder whose computer they really were.

I'm really in a bad place. I work for myself, have 2 kids and am VERY broke. I needed a decent laptop to be able to do more work and be with my kids more. I sold some stuff to get this and now this guy rips me off.

I guess this guy needed the money more than I did.

Well this guy is not only a scammer, he's a really stupid scammer.

Just got notice that there were funds left in his account, and I got back $730 of my $810. I'm pretty darned happy, but there's no reason in the world there should have been funds left in his account. I can't believe that he left money in there.

I'm still mad you scammed me George, but I am thankful that you're a moron.

Bryanmc,
I'm glad that you could recover some of your lost money. Could you share with us what steps you took after you found out he was a scammer? Did you notify Paypal? Just so that the rest of us know what to do in case something like this ever comes up (let's pray to God that it never will).

With all this talk of scamming I feel bad that I never mentioned thanks to the last person I purchased from. So if he ever sells anything again, jfandem, is a great seller. I am also sorry anybody gets burned. Glad you got some money back. Maybe we could put a list of great sellers and buyers as a sticky?

i tried selling my gateway 8510 GZ on ebay, guy used the buy it now price, then wanted same day shipping. so i told him, when the money gets into my bank account, i will go ship it. luckily paypal took their 3 or 4 days to move it, but somehow it hit my bank account, then paypal took it back?
so i held off on going to ship it for another day so i could call paypal and see what the deal was, he had done one of those chargebacks or whatever, had i sent the computer, id be out 1300 and the only funding i have to buy my new powerbook. youd think they would have better security for such a large corporation. they didnt even know they had taken the money back out of my account....because they dont have the rights to do that.
