Well, I have this Dell Truemobile card I just bought.

It is well known because it actually has a Lucent Chipset in it, so it's basically a rebranded Airport card. It was brand new when I got it, but I took it out to test it in my older powerbook. Worked like a charm in OS 8.6 with orinoco drivers. I then tested it in my iBook Clamshell where it appeared exactly has an airport card with zero configuration! It's a great card because not only does it work in any OS from 8.6 to 10.4, but It also works in windows too! I realized I dont really need to have another wireless laptop and could use the money It also has the option to use an external antenna.

Looking for $50 shipped OBO NOW $45 shipped OBO NOW $40 shipped

Here is a pic I just took:

I have heatware which is located here: http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=44077

actually, yes it will. I tested it in my iBook with the keyboard off. If you remove the casing it appears as a slight bulge.

If its not in a laptop, then itll work perfectly as well.

Nope, since this is basically a rebadged airport it works just fine. Airport cards, however, wont work in anything except an airport slot.

A great deal on a card less than half for what aiports are going for!

And where do you plug the airport antenna in at? All I see from the pics is the one on the end. . . do you have to disassemble it ?

The Lucent unit looks like the same card that was installed inside the Graphite Airports.

No you don't it has a little black plastic cap which pops off if you want to connect an external antenna. If not, you just put the cap back on.

Okay, one final price drop, to $40 shipped. That's a helluva deal and a whole lot cheaper than $100+ on an airport card!
