Bought my 7 y/o daughter an G4 PowerMac AGP and want to get her up and running wirelessly. I am looking for a good working original airport card and don't want to pay eBay prices to perfect strangers. I would rather trust the great luck I have had from buying/ trading MacNN followers. I have the folowing to trade:

1] external firewire BOA DVD-RW/CD-RW 4x2x12 with all of the cables

2] external firewire CD REVO Cyclone CD-RW drive with all of the cables

I would trade for one or the other... Thanks Kenny

You'll have a bit of trouble trading either of those for an original Airport card. They're in high demand, and regularily go for ~$125 CAD. I don't think anyone would be willing to trade one for an old Firewire CD burner. You can build a Firewire DVD burner for $70 CAD.

I appreciate the tip, but living close by you in the States [Bellingham,WA.] I am fully aware of the costs of Apple items in Canada; the shipping costs and delays. Most of us also follow eBay prices. I recently bought an Airport card off Craigslist for $60.00 [including shipping] and need another for my daughters computer. I was hoping that a MacNN person would have a use for either/both of the drives and wish to trade. Many things have different value to each of us. In no way am I trying to misrepresent or rip anyone off. Thanks again for your insight.

I have had many MacNN folks step up to help out & I have done the same. have a great day !

It wasn't meant to be an assertion of you trying to rip anyone off -- sorry.

I didn't know that such things were THAT much cheaper in the States. Damn. :-/
