Price drop to $520. it goes on ebay tonite!
I bought this Pismo powerbook from scoop a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, this powerbook doesn't meet my needs and I bought a 15" aluminum powerbook.
now the pismo has got to go. it is really amazing and upgraded.
500mhz G3 processor
1gb (you read it right, 1gb of RAM)
60gb 7200rpm hitachi hard drive
newertech higher capacity battery
dvd-rom
Airport card installed (don't ask me to sell this separately. i won't do it)
i bought an original pismo box from ebay just for complete-ness sake.
the resale value on ebay is probably pretty high, but with all the fraud and non-paying bidders, i'll give it a shot here first, even though i could get more money for it elsewhere.

realistically, you could make money parting it out. the ram is worth $150 at least, airport card is worth $100 easily, the hard drive is another $100, the newertech battery is another $100, and that leaves you the screen a

my shipping zip code is 61602. So take your zip code and assume 20x20x10 dimensions with weight of 10lbs and insured for $600. and I will charge that price exactly.

I'm pretty confident that I'll get more than what i'm asking for on ebay (even after ebay fees) but i want a fellow macnn member to have a chance to get it. I have bought a mac mini, this pismo, and now a 15" powerbook from this forum, all for very reasonable prices. I want a chance to return the favor.
