I'm selling my iBook g3 800mhz system for parts, It's been hacked up so the frame is no good (my horrible job at taking it apart) but im sure most of the internals are still of good use.

* 12" Screen - Untested, and screen was bugging out unless you applied pressure to the left side of the keyboard, probably this is an inverter card issue
* Logic Board seems to be in good working order
* CD Drive - Works good
* Memory, lots of it, a few sticks here an there of my own personal collection and what I got out of the iBook
*Im not too sure I want to sell the hard drive just yet, it has my personal data on there still, so Im still in limbo.

Make offers on individual parts, or get the whole machine for $200!

Thanks,
Hunter

It's all in working condition, etc - just the case beating? Will it come fully assembled or is this a "some assembly required" iBook?

Do you have a 256MB PC133 module? Or even 2x 128MB. They have to be PC133 though.

How much for the mangled case? Does the latch still work?

All glory to the hypnotoad.

LCD inverter is inside the LCD housing.... just inder the "iBook" logo and to the left. If you're applying pressure to the keyboard area, it's the logic board... This is a common problem among iBook G3's (and some G4's). That means your LCD and inverter are probably just fine... the logic board is probably starting to fail.
